Recently I use to hear this word as abuse to our cognitive incapabilities. Tech industry people are very much find of putting ego lawn on the table to show case the "jargons" they learned. For a coding scenario, it's rooting from an idea,then a business requirement, later it's techno wrapper, and finally it will be with a software engineer. In the real world flow, many layers of stakeholders come into picture. In the macro level inside the tech industry the "drum" is always the one who codes. The hard truth is most times, "team" is not evolved as one stakeholder, rather it will end up as a blame game. Using heirarchical terminologies, the higher-ups play the dirty office politics. In return, they are destroying someone's capabilities. A minimal just is most times not served properly. So the question of being rational actually lost in the behavior flow!
